Hello again all! Here I am with another question. Do I need to have these stickers on my ram 3500? I figured I would ask before I ugly my truck up with them. About to wash it now and put them on if I have to.

    Thanks again!

Do magnet signs for DOT # then stick them on the magnet signs.

That's a smart idea. What if the magnets go flying? lol or does that never happen?

Magnets won’t ever fly off. They can scratch your paint though as dirt goes between the magnet and the paint.

Just stick the IFTA one on there (elogs one is optional) and when you want to remove it buy a rubber wheel that goes in a drill and your paint will look like new after buffing it off.

I had about 4 or so magnet signs fly off. Just my experience with them. I think the rough highways help. I have ones that stick on the rear door windows. I place IFTA and other stickers on the glass. Easier to remove with no paint damage. Tks, PK

I never lost any but left some on for a long time. That screwed up the paint where moisture has retained between the door.
Aluminum and composites are becoming more popular. Be sure a magnet will stick to your door before you order them.

I appreciate all of the great ideas. So on the window, can it be on the backdoor window of the crew cab? I assume it being on the front door window would be an obstruction of view.

Oh yeah! I checked it with a magnet before I purchased the big ones. :)

I have my IFTA on both rear door windows of my crew cab (Lower rear corner). The ELD stickers are near the lower rear corners of the front door windows. I have had no issues about placement of either from the DOT officers and I have interacted with a bunch of them. No violations yet, just a lot of inspections...6 level ones in 2018 and 3 within 10 days in 3 different states (TX, TN, KY) in late January 2019. I guess I must be attracting them...LOL Tks
