If you get your Class A suspended, will your drivers liscence revert back to a Class C?

Generally it goes back to the lowest level but it depends on what it was suspended for

 

I'm not sure... but I'm thinking it will still show up. Did you get your class C and class A in Texas? I was told that the license number on our Class C won't change when we get our CDL. Hope this helps. Good luck

 

sorry still don't know. But I do know in the state of Texas you can have a state ID or a state driver's license, not both. So the question may be asked if you ever had a driver's license in the last X number of years.

 

So if you get pulled over in your personal car, what drivers license are you going to give them? In Texas you have 10 days to change over your driver's license once you move here.
Don't get caught with a suspended license and don't get caught without a license. That could end up being 2 more tickets.

 

Do you know for sure your Class A was suspended? I can't comment specifics because I don't know all the pertinent laws in the different states but it may be salvageable in the process hasn't gone too far. If your whole licence was suspended, not just the Class A part, thats another matter altogether. You'll likely have to pay the fine and a reinstatement fee before any state will issue you a new one.

And if thats the case, you probably don't want to be caught driving in the meantime
