Found this. What brand and what size. Didn’t have a tape measure at the time. 1FB3D18F-7694-44E0-A91C-0DDB9B68BE82.jpeg 57E9D8AA-214A-4FC6-AB64-C8E0213B2DC8.jpeg

Early 70’s Kenworth W900, I believe. Looks identical to Cherry Pie’s sleeper, which is a ‘73.

Yeah, I think you’re right. I did some image searching and found reference to their name and an identical sleeper. But, it was definitely way back before their later houses.

Larger than a "coffin sleeper"---but not by much, lol. I don't think coffin sleepers had the boot either, but I could be wrong. ;)

I'm glad I went truckin' when sleepers got large...

Early 70’s Double Eagle. Many manufacturers didn’t build a bunk of their own till mid to late 70’s. Double Eagle and Mercury were takin it in.

I don’t see it much any but used to you could pull in a lot and see these old heads sitting in the drivers seat watching the show, or sleeping with a pillow on the wheel. Those window crawl through frames or the outside door were not worth using to many. Once you get in the habit of something it’s hard to break

The old baw was done with it and as you can see, it’s beside a junk/burn pile. Asked me if I was interested in it and I went ahead and saved him the trouble of burning it. I may have a candidate for it, if I can figure out how to mate the crawl through, to a little hole W9.
