I searched and found a thread on emergency markers here and found the last posted was 2010. Too many drivers dont know how to and when to place. Come on people, I understand that the people who violate everything under the stars dont know about this forum but dam, it is getting ridiculous out here.

Today, fedex here on the 80 in Ohio, had 2 triangles out maybe 10 feet apart. How the hell am I supposed to notice that your broke down if you dont place this out the right way. I cant see you on the side if a truck is in front of me.
This info im sure was part of the test. You guys should know because its in the book. I have seen so many ways people place the triangles, but most are incorrect.

On a 4 lane divided hwy, 10 ft from the traveled portion, 100 ft in the center of the trl, and another one 100 ft from that . Whole point is to direct traffic in the rear AWAY FROM YOU. I wish I was able to take pics.

2 triangles, most truck drivers have 2 hands.

i take them home for the holidays, and the kids decorate the tree with them. saves me money on buying ornamental balls. for the top of the tree, we have no angel, so i also let them use a roadside flare.

and for snow effect, i let them use a fire extinguisher

i mean if these are safety things, then they should all be safe in my house as well, right..???

The best one I've seen was the three triangles spaced within 100 feet of the trailer on the other side of a blind corner. Common sense says put them before the corner so drivers have some kind of warning before they get into the turn.

I'd be shocked if they Fed-Ex driver spoke English, so not many surprises when it comes to triangle placement by him
