I have a bone stock c15 acert, what kind of boost gauge do you guys recommend 30psi max or 60psi max, Where should I plug the boost gauge in on the engine, and can the gauge be like car turbo boost gauge? Any website to order good boost gauge from?
And now, where should I plug in the EGT gauge on the exhaust?
I Want to install a boost gauge and EGT gauge

For an Acert you will need atleast a 60psi gauge. Look on the driver side of the engine on the head to the right of the intake horn you'll find a pipe plug, just pull that out and install the fitting for your gauge. You can use ANY gauge rated for air
You may need a new turbo outlet pipe or have a bung welded on yours if it doesn't have one. Either that or you would have to drill and tap the manifold to install it there. Ideally on truck they are just installed in the exhaust right after the turbocetanediesel and SimD Thank this. -
Thanks a lot

Not sure how much $ you're spending on the boost gauge, but you can get a ScanGauge D for about $169 and it provides a ton of displays for basically everything your ECM reads. In case you're interested, here's the web page: http://www.scangauge.com/products/scangauged/
Also, here's a thread where some of the fans here at ttr have been discussing it: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...rs/211530-question-for-scangauge-users-2.html
Good luck with your project.
