This truck came with a 130 gallon driver side tank. I want to add a 75 to 100 gallon tank on the right side.
This will take time and the post may fade away my and reappear as I make progree. But,
A) Is it wise to get a used one or should it be new.?
B) what do I need to know about my truck. Before hand?
C) what do I need to know about the tank before hand.?
D) should I make the non slidieing fifth wheel slide first.? To date I've never seen over 11k on the steers.
2016 cascadia. 12 speed automatic.
I want to add a fuel tank to my 2016 Cascadia.

I recently replaced a fuel tank. The best deal I found was at lkq heavy truck. The tank was new and cost about 500 bucks. They will also have all the brackets and lines from a wreck. Good luck.
blacklabel and feldsforever Thank this. -
I would add the same size tank for both sides.
Your tanks are going to come together into a single draw so if they're the same amount of gallons you fuel both tanks and you refill them at the same time.
You don't want to run out of fuel on one before the other. You also will use just the one fuel sender for the fuel gauge that you already have so with the same size tanks you know when you'll need fuel.feldsforever Thanks this. -
Tanks should level out the same on both sides regardless of tank size. Lots of newer trucks with smaller tanks on one side due to DEF tank.
Find brackets from a salvage yard and maybe a tank too. Just look tank over for wear where the tank straps areRoberts450 and feldsforever Thank this.
