Plate states;
PT320
320 1900
855 905
T9.0.011 LASH .023
575/675
I presume it means the follow;
model
power @ rpm
engine capacity CPL (??)
??
??
If that is the CPL number, what can tell me about this engine?
I think I found the CPL.

Bump. Anyone?
-
This is from a mechanical Cummins 855 c.i.
Lash 0.023 is exhaust valve lash. Not familiar with the 575/675, but I would guess it is desired idle speed. Is there an engine serial number there? -
Do you have the engine serial #?
-
Ahhhh yes, I think it's this;

Yes your CPL is 905. Your CPL is helpful when getting parts for your engine like an overhaul kit, cam, heads, injectors, ect. You can go to quickserve.cummins.com and sign up for a free account. Enter your engine serial number and you can view a parts catalog and diagrams for your engine. Hope this helps.
-
When ordering parts, the original engine serial number is what the parts guys need. They can work with the CPL, but the serial number is way easier.
-
CPL is helpful though on getting aftermarket parts online.

Awesome! Thanks heaps guys!
