I'm on my way to East Los Angeles and my radio has died. I want to upgrade and get one with all the bells and whistles and a good antennae , also with an install. Any suggestions? I'm on 54 in Hooker, OK headed for I-40 and then down I- 15. Thanks

I don't know of any off the top of my head, but I'd be happy to walk you thru an install if needed. It's actually pretty easy

The best installer I know is at Exit 61 on I 44 at Hoods Truck Stop in MO. Doesn't help you much, but for future reference.............(he is a pretty darn good tech too and a nice guy to boot!)

There's nothing to installing a CB Radio...You just have 3 wires to hook up, and one of those is self-explanatory!

RED Wire go's to the Positive side of the battery
Black wire go's to negative side of battery (or just ground to firewall or any-other good grounding point)

The last wire is your antenna coax, which attaches to that big screw looking thing on the back of the radio, that has a hole in the center...

    Pretty cut-and-dry...

If you're intent upon having someone else do your unstall, Advanced Electronics, Inc in Redondo Beach ("Redildo Beach" to locals) is hard to beat. I worked there 1978 --1981 and learned the two-way commercial trade there.

Like previous post said, easy to install yourself then have good shop check it out for you.
i see your from "over there" , joke there.
On your way home try going thru Eloy Az CB shop across from TA does darn good work, but....
i have a 4300-300 and the only shop that touches it is CB shop there in Altoona, IA at the old Bosselmans ( Flyin hook now) I had them install it in 2013 KW to get it right. And yes because I would've screwed it up, to much at stake w new trucks. Good luck.
