hi everyone. I’m wondering if anyone has installed a swivel seat in a 379 day cab. I’d like to put one in my drivers side for those long layovers. If so, can u slide it forward after u swivel so you can recline. If that’s possible, I could stretch my legs out on the passenger seat and take a snooze. Sounds great huh? Might be a little pie in the sky, but just wondering. Actually, hopeful.
I need more comfort, can I install a swivel seat in my 379 day cab?

I don't see why not. Beats a board across both of them.
We did not have those in my day, but again I don't see why not. The T2000 I had prior to stopping OTR had a swivel drivers. It managed to do the job nicely as did the passenger seat. But we did not use it that much. Plenty of room then. -

Hi guys. I’ve sat sideways before and that’s probably why my sciatica came back. If you haven’t had that pain I hope you never get it. I guess I might just have to get the swivel base and see what I can get it to do. Getting up early to be one of the first ones out of the shute can wear you out, but to me it’s better than creeping along on line waiting to get loaded. I would need to install a grease fitting in my left knee.
KB3MMX Thanks this. -
I'd like to put one in my 379 too.
I see some newer trucks have them where you swivel the seat 180* and a side cabinet has a pull out desk right over your lap.
