I was using one of those donut rings in the factory seat (cascadia cloth), my hips were getting messed up, especially the throttle side. Minimizer cured the hemorrhoids, the hip, and the bad attitude all in about 3 days. It has a lifetime warranty. Not the seat lifetime, your lifetime. You get a remote with the massage, you can set it to just the back of you want, it's got seat cushion, lower back, and upper back zones. All of the main adjustments have really fine toothed adjustment slots (back angle, seat length, seat height) and the back angle adjusts freely instead of sequentially. That sounds trivial but there are certain positions within 1/8" of each other that make a huge difference in long term ergonomic comfort, you can get to all of them with the pull of a lever in about a half second. Or hold the lever and work out the spine kinks a few times. And it rotates in to the cab on the base.

Is that really a problem? Should you be swiveling around while the seat belt is on?

Yeah, cruse is set, now i can swivel around and make a sandwich!

Or the seat belt is mounted on the floor in the way? :)

I was happy with the Legacy seat. Good bang for the buck. Expect the seat cushion to start flattening out after 500k, but they sell replacements.

I had a Gold version with a "smart valve" that would lower the seat when you got out, and then raise it back up when you sat on it. It was nice unless you were trying to reach up into an upper cubby. It would lower the seat when you reached up and took pressure off the seat.

I would buy a Silver next time, same thing without the "smart valve" and maybe single instead of dual lumbar adjustments.

I need to find a decent base for it out of say 3/4 oak plywood and some framing for it. And then purchase one of those myself. Probably try to run the suspension off the 30 PSI hobby air compressor in the corner. Hopefully it's enough. It would fit my frame so well here at the desk. (Maybe put rollers under the base to moving it place to place.

That would be a nice desk chair... But how will you keep the air hose out from under the wheels?

Well, I was thinking of bolting the hobby compressor to one corner of the platform where it usually goes anyway to accomodate the airbrush hose among other things.

The more I think about this the more I lean to see if I can just have standard passenger seat brackets for that thing.

i have the legacy silver as well.

the shock is blown out on it now and the bottom cushion is starting to get a bit torn but im put tons of ### hours in that seat in probably had that seat 5 years now. i had it in my fld and then moved it to the mack when i got that. its getting about time i need to either see if i can get some replacement parts for my seat or a new one.

i would suggest stopping by truck dealer that has a large selection of seats on display and sit in a bunch of them. that's how i picked the legacy silver. you don't necessarily have to buy it there but i would certainly want to sit in one before buying a new truck seat.

That was a good answer but it's because the seatbelt is mounted to the floor and the seat hits it
