It depends. As long as I get at least 700 miles a day thru NE,CO,KS,UT,WY etc. I am cool with pay per mile as every hour of driving pays me in theory $37.50 and between $32-35 in reality which is not that bad for just holding steering wheel.

 

Most drivers are nearly that lucky. A lot make less than minimum-wage.

 

I see why you have no profile pic. I too would be embarrassed if I was splitting 28 cpm. That is just plain wrong and disgusting how can your wives and girlfriends look you in the eyes and be happy with the decision she made to stick it out with. when you're when you make a crazy unrash decision to work for pennies. There is no way CR England should even exist paying slave wages like that. I feel sorry for you just a little, and please don't take this the wrong way. In my opinion only a complete IDIOT would go out weeks on end and not see his family and friends for 14cpm.

 

Well sometimes you have to bite your tongue and do what you gotta do to make sure you can provide for your family. What you don't know is i have over $1500 a week coming in on other investments i do this so i can give my wife the life she deserves. Another thing some of us are just starting out in a truck and theres only so many options until you get a bit of experience. I take care of mine so worry about yours

 

How do a lot make less than minimum wage? 7 years ago, when I was over the road for 4 months, I made $750-$800 per week averaging 5.5 days and about 55 hours. About $14 an hour straight time, or $12.50 an hour with OT after 40. Low pay? Heck yeah. But definitely not below minimum wage.

If you are working 60+ hours per week and making only $500 per week, then run from that company!!!

Go work for a mega pulling low mile refer loads with 6+ hour loading/unloading times and you will understand.

 

Lmao... I was just messing with you I really really really don't care what you do with your life. There are plenty of companies out there besides CR England if you didn't know there is a driver shortage, its all bout the driver now not the company. The sooner these new drivers learn that the better off they will be. Driver pay is coming up ( NOT AS FAST AS IT SHOULD BE) all over the industry do to the lack of drivers, but people still keep going to companies like CR England due to being lazy and not willing to do the research. Don't just jump at the first company that calls you back unless you have like 3 felonies and no one will hire you. Then and only then do you take what you can get.
