I was at the used Volvo place near my home and been driving Crapcadias for years and never been inside a Volvo before. I didn't drive it since I am not ready to buy, I only wanted to see how I would like them. Viewing pics online the 780 looks like a condo and the 670 looks like an SUV. To my surprise, the 670 has some good size and I will go with it. The 670 looks smaller in pics since they only take a pic of the bottom part of bunk. I've never seen that the upper cabinets are larger on the top.

The 780 has larger cabinets and all but it wasn't freaking hugeeeee monster like the pics make it out to be. So I am happy that I am OK with the smaller 670. I may even find out where to change out the insides once I pay it off. I would replace the top bunk with cabinets. I also never noticed how large the Volvo mirrors are man I could see the whole world behind me.

I never judge anything by whats on the inside. It is the size of her highlights that attracts me.

The 670s are certainly smaller. Little differences. For example, pay attention when you are close to a 780. Look at the outside of the sleeper. You will notice the side of the sleeper is not flush with the cab. The 670, 630, etc is. That turns into the sleeper-area being wider in the 780 than the 670. That converts to cabinets under the bottom window on the 780 and none on the 670. The table in the 780 is also larger and more stable and the upstairs bedroom is larger (width as well as depth). That upper bunk also has a mattress and the 670 is not much more than a hammock. The refrigerator is also larger in the 780 as compared to the 670. The cabinets are larger in the 780.

I don't think there are any differences from the seats forward.

The only reason my boss finally downsized to the 670, much to our dismay, was because they weigh 2000 lbs lighter.

These comparisons may be different depending on how the trucks themselves are spec'd but those were the differences in the Volvo 780's and 670's that my boss had.

Yes the mirrors are big, they will block a small car from view when at a cross street. Be patient and look on both sides of mirror.

one thing you will find if you LOOK is the cabinets between the seats and the bed are not the same size, the sleeper is about 6"wider and about 8" longer = a lot more room inside (storage) plus because the sleeper is longer it has a lower window not the little pup open vents
in the 780 you can fit a dorm size up to 4.5 cu.ft. INSIDE the lower cabinet just need to pop the doors off
