You think with all the banged up truck your company has they're gonna notice yours is new? Just tell em the truck was issued to you that way. I doubt the shop monkeys are going to notice.

They had to! Competition from the fleet that claims "award winning drivers".

the problem with "just saying you got it like that", is from my past experiences, i had to do (to Cover my butt) a full inspection, noting ALL damages, scratches and dents. THEN if that damage WAS there when i got it.>??

there would be NO QUESTIONS, as i had proof of it.

so in the future, ANY company you go to, and get a truck assignment.? do a full damage report as well as an inspection, keep a copy for you, and give them a copy.

this has kept me out of any dog house since oh about 1982?

I think the trainer needs more training.......
Why guys bend up fairings especially on the drivers side when you see it in the mirror is beyond me!
Why was the trainer not watching what the heck was going on?

Yeah I actually did that report as week once I was given the truck. I had to walk around the truck to a thorough inspection and tally all the damages or issues I found with the vehicle then I signed it and they signed it I got a copy. So yeah I'm crap out of luck with that way. However I might be lucky because the weekend planner gave me a load going in the opposite direction from the terminal so hopefully when my FM comes in tomorrow if he does come in tomorrow would you might not because it's a holiday then I'll be 600 miles from the closest terminal and I have hometime on Thursday. I can try fixing it then. Haha. Fingers crossed!!!!
