Hwy 164 Searchlight to I-15

    Is this a truck route? The atlas shows it's a truck route on the Nevada side but not the California side. I'm sure if CHP sees you they think you're dodging the scale. I need to do a reset but I'm thinking Whiskey Pete's might be a better option than the TA in South Vegas.

    it's not a truck route but it's ok road for trucks. I have used that hwy 5 years a go.

    Going west on I-40. Shortest route from Kingman.
    If it isn't a truck route, I wouldn't risk getting a ticket. Doesn't sound like a 100% sure thing.

    Stop at Whiskey Pete’s all the time. Parking is easy and really quiet. I try and get into the small lot around the back, it’s really quiet there.

    That's on 15 going south. He said he's in Kingman going west. I have no idea why Vegas is in his talks though.

    Unless Cajoun got rebuilt or whatever. I don't think there's a scale going in to Cali from Kingman. Until he hits Tehachapi or where ever he's going.
