Are there any tips to reduce the mess or subconsciously make the other drivers a little neater?

I use this stuff religiously in my truck (I don’t slip seat, I just like a clean truck). Similar to armor-all but works better and smells better.
Wipe down every plastic surface with it, including the floor, and once everything is coated it will wipe clean much easier.Boondock, ibcalm19 and Atthattime768 Thank this. -
I slip seat and unfortunately if the other driver is a slob. There isn't really anything you can do except keep it clean yourself. Like the post about suggested some wipes or just a bottle of cheap cleaner and paper towels. And a little fox tail broom are about all you need.
If you have a choice on who you slip with find out who the cleaner people are and slip with them.
It amazes me how a company can spend a $100,000+ (what ever they spend on them) and let drivers trash them. And thats the inside that doesn't count the guys that dont open the hood for months at a time.WildTiger1990, Boondock, jmz and 9 others Thank this. -
Boondock, Brettj3876, Speedy356 and 1 other person Thank this.

Ive been slip seating for near 30 years.
We all have our own level of cleanliness and most likely you are asking because your standards are a bit above the other drivers.
I use Clorox wipes on the steer and all that another driver might touch and a bottle of Clorox cleaner w bleach for most else. A spray bottle of Windex for glass w 2 ply paper towels and bulk micro fiber rags which I wash to reuse.
Boss would rather pay me the extra time than call out the slobs.
They ain't going to change anyhow.
I even pull the floor mats and use a brush to clean em w window washing fluid that we use on the fuel island.
I guess it's just a matter of your filth tolerance level..lolAtthattime768, Boondock, Kyle G. and 1 other person Thank this. -
The food service company I worked at was good about cleaning out the trucks after every run. The yard jockey's were responsible for sweeping out the trucks. They did a good job
Boondock Thanks this. -
I’m anal when it comes to this.
I try to train all my guys to take their boots off whenever in the truck. About 3/4 of my guys take their boots off, the other 1/4 just have to clean the truck weekly. The 3/4 usually only have to clean their trucks monthly because they stay so clean. -
