How to get your own background check, MVR and TWIC ???

I have been reading a lot of post about people sent away from driving schools because of bad reports.

Is there a place to check on my own that the companies use. I read where a guy had some bad checks 22 yrs ago and got denied and it was his company that didn't have the money in the bank.

I have had a secret clearance from the government for 15 + years and they always do 10 year background checks and never had a problem.

I'm 59 years old and don't think I have anything to worry about but I had some speeding tickets, running red lights and a few things like that when I was younger and want to make sure that is no problem. Some people say they go back 10 years at some places but when they get your driving record I think it will show your whole life on there. I don't think there would be a problem but just want to be sure.

My wife and I want to drive as a team and she just became a US citizen last year and we have lived in Korea for the last 8 years, she will get her first Indiana drivers license in a few months when we go home to visit .

I wonder how they can do a MVR and a 10 year background check on her.

We are planning on getting all the endorsements on our CDL's and wanting to possibly drive in Canada thinking this will help after a years experience towards getting on with a great team company.

If anyone has info please share, seems like I seen some places that are free and we may even pay a little just for peace of mind.

 

Missjhawk , I checked these 2 sites and they seem to be for people that already have their CDL. We don't have ours yet and I was just curious how and where they go to do a 10 year background check. And how they check your driving record. I keep my Indiana drivers license but have lived and worked in Korea for the last 8 years .

 

I must have misled people, everyone is talking about their DAC and we are not drivers yet. We are just wanting to do our own background checks, I don't think anything will come up on my wife because she has only been a citizen for 1 year so I wonder if she would need some info from the Philippines.
