    Go to grain elevators and talk to drivers (while not getting in their way of working, of course)
    Otherwise where in Ohio? And does it have to be an O/O, can it be a larger company?

    Yes to be Owner / operator I live in Sandusky Ohio but I'm willing to drive out of state to do grain

    I'd go to the elevators and talk to the guys running it.

    At the elevator in my little town if you go in between 06-0700 there's 6-8 in there drinking coffee before they start their day.

    Are you wanting to buy a trailer or are you looking for a company to run for? I don’t know anything about them, but leasing to Bruce Oakley would get you doing hopper work and you could see how stuff moves around pulling for someone else. Between that and watching loads and rates on bulkloads.com for a while you could decide if you wanted to buy a trailer or not.
