We get a lot of questions about how to add an image to a post. This is extremely easy to do and here are the instructions:
Upload Your Trucking Photos
After you go to our photo gallery, upload the pics you want from your computer. It will then take you to your list of pictures (in Users Gallery)
NOW when you click on a picture...you'll see a line of code in a box below the picture called IMG Code:
LEFT click ONCE on that code...the code will highlight...then RIGHT click on the code and click on COPY. Now, come back in the post you were just making in here and RIGHT CLICK in the editor in here and click PASTE.
It will paste a code like:WITHOUT THE SPACES. (I put spaces in this one to break the code so that you could see what the code looks like)

Posting pictures from photo bucket:
The same concept applies. You will need to sign up for a photo bucket account, upload your photos from your computer, and then Copy this code (next to the red arrow):
Paste that code in the message box you are posting in, and when you hit submit, the photo will appear in your post.
Important: Do not post photos from your online email account, as they will not show up in your post. You must save them to your computer by right clicking on them and selecting save image, and then you must upload them to either the Truckers Report Image Gallery or a Photobucket account.

I love photo bucket also because you can load pictures right from your emails
Best photo hosting site Ive ever used
They were 100% free
Now I think after like 4000 hosted photo's you have to upgrade to a premium membership -
I want to add some photos to a post but as I am not using a "real" computer, but a cheap cell phone instead I cant "right click" or a copy and paste. How do you suggest I do it?
I can E-mail the pics to someone and they could attach the images. I dont know, what do you think? -
I think no one has answered you.
BUMPBaack Thanks this. -
Yes I think the only way would be for you to send the picture to somebody else and have them host it and post the picture for you -
I have an interesting picture I would like to share. I don't know how to post it. Any help would be appreciated.

I like imageshack.us
You don't have to join, just upload. You can instantly resize big pictures for forums so you don't stretch the pages.
From experience, the code remains active indefinately. I've seen old posts on other forums where the hosting site deletes the code after a year or two.
Craneman you can try the site I listed or any of the other ones suggested.
Just hit the browse button and find the photo on your computer, then upload. The website will then display codes called Image Code/URL's. Right click/Copy the code for forums, then come here and make your post, right click/paste and wallah, there's your picture's URL.
When you post, the picture will show up.
You go a little more advanced and use the resize feature if you have a picture bigger than say 700 pixels will distort the pages on the forum. -
TTR...Where do I need to upload to or link from to see the "thumbnail" attachment photos that I have seen around the forum. The reason I ask is I know some may still be on dial-up, etc and images loading may slow their TTR experience. I have tried Photobucket as well as uploading to my own account then using the IMAGE CODE from there but I'm still seeing the image rather than the "attachment" rollover.
??? and Thanks. -
You can upload to your photo album here if you like and right click on the photo, select properties and copy/paste the url to your post or signature.
Or you can use a photo hosting site and copy/paste the url here. They have thumbnail options.
Just pick the place and use the browse button to find the photo on your computer. Then upload and the codes are displayed. Then copy/paste.
www.imageshack.us has thumbnail codes. The Truckist Thanks this.
