How often do you change your Coolant filter 2015 D13

    This may be in my manual but how often should I change the coolant filter on my 2015 D13?

    Also, anyone know where I can get one besides Volvo? Is this a common item on most trucks that I might get at Speedco or Fleetpride or the like?

    If your truck is using ELC (Extended Life Coolant) (red color) it already has the additives in the coolant. You just need to use a blank filter.

    If your truck is using conventional green coolant, you will need to use a filter with time released SRC additives in the filter.

    Just a little humor for owner ops out there with Volvos.

    Volvo coolant filter at dealership: $14.99
    Speedco's brand: $29.99!!!
    Online (Ebay, Amazon or truck parts places): as low as $5.99

    This is how you go broke in trucking. Mine needs replacing but I can wait a few days on the 5.99 one online. It is Volvo OEM.

    I usually change mine every other service it's cheap insurance. I only use Volvo OEM

    Do All DD15s have a coolant filter.

    I did a service on a dd15 today, and the service filter kit had a coolant filter in it, but man I couldn't find it on the truck.

    Is an Argosy in Australia, 2017 DD15 with 2 x fuel filter (not the earlier 3 fuel filter set up)
