Harrison has a couple 2014 Coronado Gliders with 250-275k miles. Asking between $94-$97k. How negotiable are they? I assume it's like buying a car, going back and forth, but what's a realistic expectation?
How much negotiation on used truck at dealer?

Keep going til they ask you to leave.
str8t10, tommymonza, HaulinCars and 1 other person Thank this. -
Lol, they will never ask you to leave if you are a creditable buyer. That's funny

For the right price, I'd be buying 2, cash.id love to get them for $80k a piece, but not sure a $15k discount is doable.
-
I looked at those on line. They are priced to high in my opinion for the mileage. They are advertising new ones for $127 with a 13 spd. 300k miles is where the warranty ends too. I would not hesitate to try and get them both for $75k each. Even then not the bargain of the year in my opinion.
But I drive an old beat up pice of crap? There is a 2016 Columbia glider in Indy for $89k with 13spd with 34k miles on it. Fitzgerald motor though. I'm sure it could be bought for $80LoneCowboy Thanks this. -
Depends on the price. I've been lower end truck shopping, and found one at a dealer. Offered 35% less than asking. He initially said no, then came called back countering 25% off, and the truck grew a fresh set of drive caps. I pushed for more, and for him to get some history on it. Who knows if I went too far, there's a million trucks out there to pick from.

Not sure of the market on gliders. Know the local kw dealer well and they only pay 80% of market on trade ins. So 75-80k would be max they would have in them.
-
How can I find out market value? Is there a NADA guide or something like that?
-
Yes there is but don't think you will find gliders in there. My bank can pull up just about anything I ask value about. I think it was NADA they used. When I bought my truck I bought a package to look up 3 trucks. It was NADA too. Didn't seem to informative to me but I was looking at Pertty old stuff.
-
My bank can look up trailers too. Those are some good lookin truck (the reason I was looking at them). But for $30k more you could buy new ones with the warranty. Doesent seem like enough depreciation. My boss was looking at trading in his 2013 KW 680 for new ones at the same dealer he bought them from. At 350k miles offered $55k each. Nicely equipped trucks $145k new from them.
