How much does a cdl permit cost in TX?

There's a small charge for each of the tests you take, but that's not much, and the actual CDL fee is $60. Night Prowler is pretty close, I remember it being in the $80 - $100 range, not counting any of the endorsement tests you might want.

 

First, the permit is $11, you take 2 tests
The next 3 tests you take are $65 but that included motorcycle endorsement...should about $57, but dont' quote me.
You need to pass all 5 tests before you an get into the truck.

Doubles/triple, tanker. and HazMat endorsements were an additional $31.

I have my CDL learners permit Issued in Wisconsin. How much does it cost to have it transferred to Texas or do I need to retake the permit test as well as the CDL driving test. The totals are how much for each test? I believe all I need to do is take the driving or skills test. Is that correct or are there additional test I need to plan for. I have the Texas operator license already. When I returned to Wisconsin The Wisconsin DMV punched a hole in my Texas license but is still valid until October 2015. So I need to replace it also. Texas DMV said it will cost me 25.00 to replace it. Just to be clear Wisconsin is my only active license. Texas will punch a hole invalidating it when I return. The DMV only allows You to have one active license
