Wondering what kind of miles you guys are getting on your trailers with disc brakes? Mostly people that do OTR and not a lot of city loads.

Had the pads on my trailer changed a couple months ago... They had roughly 500k miles on them and the mechanic said they still had life left...

Like always, depends on the driver.

At the cost of rotor replacement, do it early

That was what I thought I would get on mine as well. I use the Jake all the time to slow down and hardly use brakes. I think I have about 170K on them now so was seeing what others are getting.

I use Jake and use brakes as little as I can. Was hoping to get to 500K on these and was seeing what others are doing. I have 170K or so on them now.

Depends on the useage, how often you hit salt, if you ever smoked them, if something wore out or broke and a million other things. Lowest i have seen is 25K best ive heard of is 1 million. I would GUESS a healthy average is likely 250K at which time i myself would replace them out of paronia. And id do the rotors as well at 250k and do them and the calipers period at 500k.

With brakes better safe then colorado mass murder event 2.0. Also for refrence i got about 150k per set of discs. But my jake is also #### and just an 8% grade requires me to be in 4th gear with 80k on for the jake to hold it....and that is after upgradeing it.

I changed them on my last trailer at 540,000 and they had probably close to 50% life. I had the pads already so I went ahead and changed them.
