If your putting on several coats of color to cover up primer at first coat up to two gal. of color but 1 gal. of clear coat sprayed on will look great if put on even?
mirou and Big Willie 10 Thank this. -
Quality paint like PPG Deltron will cover better so you will need less vs cheap Omni. I would say 1.5 gallons will do it, you will be reducing it 1 to 1 so you'll end up with 3 gallons sprayable.
Also depends on color you want, darker color you want gray primer underneath. White, yellow, bright red you'll want to shoot white primer underneath.SoDel, Big Willie 10 and BoostedTeg Thank this. -
i haven't shot a semi yet but i would think under a gallon and a half.

Big Willie, are you a truck paint shop? I'm looking at estimates to get my truck painted: 1996 Kenworth T-600 132 inch sleeper. Orange (see avatar) I'd like to get the truck painted mid night metallic blue with black visor.
How much would this run me $$$?Last edited: Apr 1, 2017
