Its a weighted system. So I got 12 points issued to me during the last blitz for hazmat related problem and those points total 36, 3 years X 12 points.
Next year my CSA score will be 12X2 years for a total of 24 points as long as I don't have anymore bad inspections. Then 2 years from now it will be 12X1 year for a total of 12. Finally after three years I will be back at 0 if I keep my nose clean.
I went 3 years at 0 CSA points and hope to get back there asap.GenericUserName Thanks this. -
They say if you have good inspections your score goes down but I already had a clean level one that has posted on my report but my score stayed the same. Seems a Driver's CSA score only has one way to go and that's up! Also the CSA inspection system/protocols varies from state to state. It was suppose to be homogeneous throughout all states but the region or state you run has a major influence on the probability of your CSA score being higher or lower.

Driver's PSP scores do not go down after a clean inspection.The_Great_Corn and 123456 Thank this. -
I had a lot of points added over a 1 year peroid. They all dropped off at the end of the month 3 years from the month I got the points.

Last time I checked my company's CSA record, violations stayed for 30 months. Used to be 36.
