How long do they let you park for free? I'm driving a bus if it makes any difference, though this would also be relevant to truckers.

It depends. I’ve sat for days. And I’ve left my truck for a week at a time. Others have their fees posted clearly, if they charge.

The one thing you have to worry about. The longer you sit. The higher the probability of getting hit ;)

They let you park in the fuel island as long as you want.

In Ontario, I believe it’s two hours. If you have receipts worth $25.00 (I think), can stay all night. Includes restaurant. Although, if it is Ontario, they have an in and out on the other side of the freeway....nice walk.

Sounds like a bad idea to "sit" on the fuel island?

TA or Petro in Sparks, NV.

Park as long as you want. It’ll cost you nothing, unless you park in a reserved spot.

Although they might eventually check on you. If you’ve sat there for over a week ;) Remember, it’s not a campground. It’s a truckstop.

Some guys do park for longer than a week. Holidays, special events, etc. I have always spoken with the manager if that was the case.

Most truck stops do not charge for parking.

Your best bet is to go to the one you want to park at and go in and speak with the manager.
Or call in advance for the information.

No one here can tell you the policy of any given truck stop.

It’s the T/A and the Petro in Ontario, CA.

The In-N-Out Burger is north of the I-10 freeway.
