Good info,
much appreciated. -
In all my dealings with scales throughout the country, in my opinion, the Florida scales are the easiest, the most courteous, the most professional and the friendliest that I have ever dealt with. Plus the fact that the fines for being overweight is about the lowest in the nation. Got a overweight ticket in Va. $750, same load in Florida cost $250. When I was running Florida, two or three times per week, I got so many overweight tickets that the people at the first scale going south on 1-95 got to know me by my first name.

It's amazing that drivers cannot follow simple signs when pulling into the weight station... "Maintain speed limit" means just that but yet countless drivers can't comprehend it... Speed limit says 35 but yet they want to do 15.., smh
