I have been using findfuelstops.com to locate fuel, but that website is unavailable today… I sure hope it isn’t out for the count! What are some of your favorite apps or websites to find the cheapest fuel along your route?

Get off the beaten path with the most traffic. Sometimes its crazy at the difference in fuel 5 miles off the interstate at a small fuel stop versus the heavy hitters with all the "reward points"

I still have to recommend a fuel discount program like Nastc. Yesterday, we fueled in Jerome, ID for $2.395. The Love's in Burley had $3.59 on the sign.

Cheapest non-fuel card fuel I could find was 3.09. Bring your own Vaseline.....

    I second gas buddy.

In my experience the prices are usually on point. No reviews that I'm aware of. I could be wrong tho. I want reviews I just google it. Filter for searches, etc etc. Nothing fancy but it does what I need it to...tell me my current locations gas prices. Can also help you find that gas station off the main highway that is cheaper then the big fuel spots, etc.

Good luck, I'm sure you'll get plenty of suggestions.

Apps are like politicians and lawyers...more around then are needed. Some are useful but most aren't.

    ;)

Sirscrapntruckalot - If your a lawyer or politician an I offended you....good. :)

Mom and pops stations. It’s always 20-30 cents cheaper. Basically you pay cash money for your “points”

So how do you all know if a semi can fuel up there? As in enough room. And if it is capable of handling your fuel card.

I know a place where trucks can fuel. But it doesn't accept fuel cards.

So everyone agrees that fueling up at a small fuel stop that offers no parking and then finding a real truck stop to park for your break while cooking food you bought from Walmart in your truck is the thing to do?
Plus complaing if the real truck stop charges for parking.

But Tuck, I walked inside to use the restroom and I threw the def containers in the trash can. Surely that means something.
