How do i add truck to New Mexico permit

    hi,
    I'm OTR owner operator and already have New Mexico permit number. I just bought another truck and want to add to New Mexico Permit.

    I wanted to ask can i do this myself or Do I need to pay fees to these registration agencies which charges around $50 to add truck to NM permit.

    I would use the online portal. I pay my quarterly taxes and yearly renewal there. New Mexico Unified Logon Service.

    why pay fees??? go on new mexicos website, it cost $6.25 and takes all of 2 minutes to register

    If you already have a truck with a NM weight distance permit, just put the same DOT # on the side of the other one and just report your quarterlys then update your info with NM at your conveiniance
