Tomorrow I will need to drive from Berryville AR to Bentonville AR and US-62 looks like the shortest route and it is a legal truck route as well.

But I have been warned by a local here in Berryville to avoid it. I know it is mountainy through there but can I get advice from someone who has driven it before?

No big deal. If you ever get a chance. AR 7 from Harrison to Dover is amazing.

I don't live to far from there, although I'm not a Driver YET .. It is curvy but doable, its not too steep but there are some fairly tight corners ..Avoiding it really isn't an option unless you want go South out of Eureka to 412 then west to Springdale then back North on I-49 to Bentonville

It's only 12 miles, why the concern? It is hilly and tight, but take it slow and you'll be ok. Some of those back roads in AR are not designed for 53 ' trailers so you have to watch your tandems when running this route and not run over a 4 wheeler coming from the opposite direction.

I also took US 30 past Breezewood, despite all the signs warning truckers to avoid. That was a great run, until I had to come into Chambersburg through the west side. Got a little tight through town.

I got stuck going up a hill there after a snow storm last year in Jordon. The tow company told my company that no big truck should have been going though there. If I would have snow chains I would have made it

SERIOUSLY! Driver, you're a heck of a lot braver than me. I did that run once and it was enough for me.

7 or 62? I used to haul out of the Tyson in Russellville, AR. Ran AR 7 many times. Beautiful run through the state park. I also really enjoyed US259 out of the Tyson in Broken Bow. AR has some great highways.

Hwy 7 south. I used to run that way doing Con-Agra from Council Bluffs to Russellville. Did 7S one time and I had enough! Me and the wife did take the scooter down that way a couple years ago on vacation. THAT was awesome!

Nice. Yeah, I enjoyed Bikes Blues and BBQ more than Sturgis. Kinda silly when I do get some time off and some buddies want to go ride, and I'm like, I was just on that highway... I'm usually glad when I go out anyway.
