How accurate are Astatic SWR meters?

    Finally found one on sale for 24 bucks. It's the combo PDC2 model.

    Im in a wide open area and tuned my Wilson 2k.

    My readings are nearly identical and I won't touch it anymore. Are these accurate meters? Can't find any info here with my searching.

    They are not to bad but hard to know for sure..They get tossed around in their boxes during shipping and at trk stops..Next time your near a cb shop askem to see if they can compare and calibrate..Or hook up to a known set up and compare #'s

    I habe a pdc1 and the pdc2 and both are accurate according to my bird dual line section reading forward and reverse power.
