How do? I've switched from oilfield truck driving to light duty hotshot driving. I would like to try the hotshotting on my own. Any insight would be most helpful. Just a couple of questions. Thanks.

The only hotshotters I see are guys out of Saskatoon bringing campers up through Emerson. Might be worth looking them up and calling them.

It's like running a trucking company as an owner/operator but on a smaller scale. Just as much "business work" to it as a bigger truck. Don't get into it unless you do enough research.

U bet bud. Thanks again. Absolutely, don't go into it blindly. I was just trying to figure out a rate per click with my half ton. I've been working for this guy for a few months and 75 % of the shipments I could have done with my p/u. Kind of a break from semi vac hauling. Less stressful, no doubt. How's the highway treating you?
