TTR is the best place to spell out exactly what problems you had with your company. As a famous man once said, "care to elaborate?"
Another Canadian driver, HiramKingWilliams, mjd4277 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Worst company you can ever work for. Horrible maintenance on the trucks, you'll be broken down out of state 50% of the time, the owner will argue with mechanics about whats wrong with the truck, refuse to pay mechanics for work done on trucks, won't change bad tires, refused to pick up the 24/7 emergency line for me left me on the side of the road no food or anything no ac the truck wouldn't start. I had drove to Arkansas from Socal truck wouldn't go past 45mph they threatened to fire me if I went back to the yard to swap trucks and refused to repair until I was back in NM frm Arkansas 10mph for 3hrs on 40. I didn't stop at the scales because I didn't want to be held up longer because the owner may have just let truck be out of service. Retaliated for a DOT complaint and literally changed my whole verification & deny I even worked there, I was told that by several companies. Didn't reimburse for motels, I barely saw my kids last year because they would never get me home in time for my weekends with them, while majority of the fleet were home every weekend literally no where to park on the yard. Always looking for employees because they can't keep any. Only drivers treated decent are the guys that have been there years older guys & their trucks get fixed properly. The rest of the trucks in & out of the shop you'll see a Hawk Transportation truck broken down anywhere on the 40 any day of the week. The staff is trash I never dealt with anything like this before unethical, disrespectful, hostile environment. Stay away from them.
Trans Xpress Lines owner is a dick head. I was let go for driving over my hours one night I was sick needed to get home my fault so he asks if I'm gonna bring the truck or grab my things out of it, I told him I'll get my things. Truck is down the street from my place, the yard is 3 hrs away. He has someone get the truck before I could get my things & brings it to the yard then texts me I have 2 days to come get my stuff or he's throwing it away. 1600 Cash, jewelry inventory, all my clothes and shoes I just purchased (my whole wardrobe was on the top bunk) laptop, speakers, etc
Inconsistent miles might make $2k.one week then less than 800 the next few weeks. He had the whole fleet working 7 days a week because he was upset about some equipment investments he made so ran everyone into the dirt. I saw a handful of drivers leave one month & new hires on their way out after 2 weeks. He's trash there located in Bakersfield don't waste your time .Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -
Do you think that rascal would come in here and give account for himself? I mean, it's great to get such a detailed review and all, but we also like to hear what these owners have to say for themselves.
Another Canadian driver, Lonesome and TB John Thank this. -
Do the worst people like to be accountable for their actions? I won a legal case against them already I'm honest they wouldn't dare..I have mechanics in New Mexico & a few in Oklahoma that could verify the accuracy. You can look at the reviews for yourself, I'd never trust an owner of a company that has a horrible reputation to speak the truth about anything.
Another Canadian driver, NorthEastTrucker and TB John Thank this. -
At least this driver came back and gave details. So many come here, just splash a bad company name and leave.
Another Canadian driver, Lonesome, TheLoadOut and 3 others Thank this. -
