    I have been looking this up for awhile and I've asked on here a few times I think but what would you all think a peterbilt 379 ext hood and cab weigh without the frame and all that just the hood and cab?

    The hood should be around 500lbs. Cab depends on size and style.

    the hood can be easily carried by 4 guys, its just awkward (450-550lb) take them off all the time at work.
    the cab would probably be around 800-1000lb..never had to pick one up!!
