We all know about the sale of the restaurant a couple of years ago, and how it went into a steady decline.

Well...

Rejoice! It sold again, and the coolest truck stop on the planet has returned to its former glory! The good home cooking and great service is back!

If you’ve been avoiding this place for a while, as I was, go back! You won’t be disappointed!

 

Anybody can have a bad day, I suppose.

 

Just ate here again. They’ve fully converted to the new menu. Chicken fried steak was thick, well cooked, obviously hand breaded perfection. Salad bar couldn’t be better if they grew it in the kitchen. The only thing I can slightly ding them for, is the rolls. The huge, house made rolls are still missing. Come on, Hoods! You’re right there! The rolls will cinch it!
