Any time a company says something like "$1500 a week", that is likely the amount their top driver made. But any Dollar store account does involve getting into cramped parking lots with impatient 4 wheelers jumping behind you at every opportunity. Lot of threads on here where drivers have had a couple incidents/accidents in those parking lots and then get fired and have trouble finding another job.

Plus the added benefit of being in not so great neighborhoods. Total fun package.

Did Hogan raise the Speed of their Trucks?
I drove for Hogan (from a warehouse in Lexington, NC) thru a Driver Service a few times in '19.
Their Trucks topped out at 62mph doing Sav-A-Lot Stores with "Driver No Touch Unload".
I was spoiled the first day with a Rental that went 68.

I believe through a different Driver Service, back some years, I gave a go at Dollar-General Runs which started in South Boston, VA. (Nice OFF DUTY turn from Greensboro, NC)
I believe I did it twice to confirm the first time was real....and it was.
    Thanks !! CHEERS!!

I am curious too with Hogan. Here in Missouri I know they now also have many Hospital Accounts and they merged with Ryder. The trucks I see are real clean as are the trailers. Always slow on the interstate but currently I am running a 2019 389 without a governor.

My current job is closing and Hogan made an offer hard to believe? I just cannot find but the one driver I met in Louisiana to hear how it is working with them.

Speed limits' do not bother me as much as bad dispatchers, low mileage after a couple weeks and breakdowns that do not go away.

I met 2 different hogan driver down in MO they was transferring a load of sows to my trailer the young guy didn't like working there but the 2nd old guy didn't have anything bad to say.
All I know is I wouldn't be doing 10-20 miles transfer while being paid by the mile and knowing there going to ohio

I've been with Hogan for two years now, on the intermodal side. Very happy. Currently at 70 cents a mile.

What I like best is the lack of micro managing. I pick my routes, I decide when and where I fuel(Pilot/Flying J or Loves only.
