Hit and run by 18 wheeler...can you help????

    okay so this is like a last resort for me. A few days ago, I got hit by an 18 wheeler, and he just kept going. My 1year old son and I were okay, but my car is pretty messed up. I got the license plate to the trailor of the 18 wheeler, but thats it. Is there any way what so ever to find out who it was that hit me?????

    If you gave the trailer plate to the police working your hit and run they'd be able to trace it.

    yes i did, but see i didnt know what state it was from because it was yellow and the police just pretty much laughed at me. And houston police stink. they are not going to go outta their way to find out so im trying.

    If the cops wont help your insurance company should have an interest in tracking down the other driver.
