Does anyone know what % in pay Heniff Transportation start there owner operators with? I was told 65% with pump and compressor. 63% without. Seems low, unless their loads pay really good. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Seems low to me too... Do you get ALL of the fuel sir charge? Is it fuel hauling or chemical? If it's chemical you might be ok if you almost always have a backhaul... If it's fuel, at that pay rate I'd run.

I work for Miller Transporters and we get 63% on system loads and 67% dedicated with 100% fuel surcharge. Miller provides and installs the pump on your truck free of charge and they maintain our pumps. PM me if you have any questions

    Hi

Was wondering if you could give me some input on heniff. I will be starting soon and was wondering how the owner operators makeout. Also how they treat them and how is management. Any comment on the matter would be great.

    Thanks

How does 63% sound low? Don't know how you can make that judgement with out knowing what the linehaul rate is. Is 63% of $10 a mile low? I've been paid 62.5% for the last 6 yrs hauling tanker and I would not consider my pay low. And I never have a backhual always return empty.

Don't work for this company unless you have deep pockets. You will go broke. I use to work for them out of the chicago area. Not a good company to work for by far. They charge you the owner operator $90 plus some of your fuel surcharge if they preload your load for you, and they will preload your load for you about 95% of the time. They also charge you $200 plus some of your fuel surcharge if you bring in a light oil load, which you wouldn't be able to off load yourself unless they get you trained to off load it which they never will. Everyday, there are at least 5 to 8 light oil trailers dropped in the yard by owner operators. That's $200 a pop Heniff gets for delivering them for you. They also have some loads that pay no fuel surcharge. They pay every friday and your check will be messed up every week. They even charge their company drivers some of their pay if another company driver loads that driver trailer. This company is a scam. I still have all my pay studs to back all of what I am saying up.

I'm sure you are not working for Heniff then. There 63% is more like 50%. Just enough to barely break even, if that. Cheap ########.

I am grateful to you for sharing this information with me. I cannot afford to make this type of mistake again. I just felt that something was not right with this company over all, I now have conformation that my feelings were correct. Myself and my family thank you. Us O/O should really try to watch each others backs when dealing with companies like this nowadays since greed is running so ramped in this industry.

    Thanks a Million Brother!
