Hi everyone.just wondering if anyone else had this problem or issue before and maybe its normal, but I just installed a drop visor on my W900L and the thing shakes like mad driving into the wind and it was only a 12 mile an hour head wind so I wondered what would happen on a real windy day because I swear that thing was going nuts and was worried that something was going to give out. I had a very precise installation done and all the bolts where tight.please any advice will do.

Maybe it is a very cheap visor? Shouldn't be shaking. Take it back to the installer and demand they do it right or give your money back.

I installed a 13" drop visor on my 1999 W 900L and noticed the same issue at highway speeds with gusty winds, can't remember the brand but afterwards i asked around with other truckers that installed visors and said they had the same issue.
I recently installed a 13" drop visor on my 1999 T 800 and it doesn't move or make any noise, IMO its the brand that makes a difference.
The hardware was superior on the T 800 compared to the one on the W900, all stainless steel brackets that were beefier and came with wellnuts "threaded stud encased in rubber", i purchased it from Roadworks.

Frans, did yours come with the brace that bolts in the center and sticks on the windshield with the rubber feet? We put a blind mount 13 inch drop visor on my dad’s T600 and it hardly moves, and we didn’t use the brace. We just made sure the holes were good and tight for the well nuts and added silicone to them to seal it. We drilled them slightly bigger then tapped the well nut in with a hammer
