Help with installing fuel pressure gauge on 870 ISX.

    Hi guys, I wanted to check the fuel pressure on the high pressure pump on my isx, but I figured for the price of a test gauge kit I could just buy a gauge for the dash and be able to see the pressure all the time, this is the one I bought.http://teltek.us/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=15&idproduct=632
    Now I dont know whether to tee into the fuel pressure sensor port or use the test port and replace the compucheck fitting with a fitting for the gauge. Any advice would be appreciated.

    Why not install the pressure sensor into a female compucheck fitting & snap it onto the test port? Should work fine. any leaks or problems with the sensor you could just unplug it. The female compucheck is 1/8 pipe.

    Thanks Pup, I have to go to cummins anyways tomorrow. I will see if they have the fitting.
