I Am Always Hearing The Same Thing From Recruiters... Sorry We Don't Hire Out Of New York City.. I Don't Know What To Do. I Am In School Trying Hard To Get My Cdl When I Get It, It Seems No One Wants To Hire Me Because I Live In Queens, New York... Are There Any Drivers Out There That Go Over The Road And Love In New York City??? Please Help What Companies Should I Apply To That Would Take Me On And Get Me Home???

I live in queens and most companies are ready to hire me, try werner, crengland, schneider, us express. they are all craps but one thing you need to know is that you are new, pick one of them stay with them for at least 6 months, play the game, shut your mouth if not they will shut it for you and when you are ready to make a move you just do it quietly.

There are several companies that hire out of the 5 boroughs and northern New Jersey. And they are not all bottom feeders. You need to expand your horizons beyond the big low paying companies.

If I'm paid enough, I don't care how slow the truck goes. I'll be smiling counting my money at 54 mph if that were the case.

I grew up on Long Island and started out with a local company... Some of them will train you... And there is no better training then driving a day cab around NYC... Try PC Richards

If I'm paid enough, I wouldn't care. Besides. Any company willing to pay that good isn't going to sit you on a 600 mile run for two days.
