Having a similar issue. A few weeks ago unit was running fine, had the a/c on and the unit quit. Looked to see what error code was on the display but it was dark. If I shut the dash switch off for a few minutes then turn it back on the display will light up again. When I try to turn on the apu for a/c, fan, or low voltage the instant the glow plugs come on the display goes dark and the unit doesn't crank. I've checked every fuse I can find and the reset button and all are ok. It acts like a bad ground. Anyone have any ideas?

you may be on the right track, I have had ground problems too. The 1st one was a starting issue, and running a ground cable from the APU engine block to the internal frame solved it. I also had a charging problem, showing low volts at the batteries, but alternator tested fine, and ended up running ground cable from the APU block to the truck frame. Where the unit bolts to the frame was not enough or a good ground.

I let the guys at the terminal take care of it. Turns out it was the fuel pump died. I'm not sure why or how it killed power to the user cp in the sleeper? I wish I had a better explination. It was just what I was told by the mechanic. I would have been more interested if it were not a company truck. =P. I got my air back just in time tho! Thx for the replies!

In one of my trucks which is a 2013 Peterbilt I have a fuse in my battery compartment there was also a fuse in back of the Apu motor itself and then you also have fuses under your bunk since mine is a 2013 they are located inside a plastic box but if you have lost all power is more than likely the fuse in your battery compartment and that usually runs around a 200 amp fuse

Copy that. Just found that 50Amp fuse last week. It's quite difficult to get to. Only from underneath between alternator and starter on the backwall.
