Help removing mirror

    hey guys i was putting on some 6inch chops, when i got to the passenger side there is a small mirror that looks straight down, i removed the mirror but the lil bracket thing is still there how do i remove that. It has some sort of bolts/screws

    Drill them out as they are rivets, remove bracket, touch up paint in the holes, install new rivets and paint them black.

    Silly question. Why get rid of the mirror? Ok, it's 90% pointless I agree, but it is nice when you know there was a small car passing you, but never seen it pop out in front.
