Help my cat won't idle

    My 5ek cat is having an issue, it is hard to start and will not idle on its own as long as I use the throttle I can make run can you guys help me out

    I seem to recall the hand primers on the Cats are known to sometimes leak air into the fuel.

    AModelCat. Would the primer pump is issue cause air in the fuel system, or leak fuel?

    I've never actually had one go bad but I've heard it can cause air in the fuel. Makes sense that if there's negative pressure at the primer, it will suck in air.

    I am having issues with low power/boost and was told about the primer pump may not seal properly. I will be doing some tests on the system tomorrow and a clear line in the return line is on my list of things to do.
