When driving at 1500 rpm, gauge goes crazy 11 to 17 shaking back and forth. Only under acceleration, truck feels like it’s Santa hitting turbulence causing me to involuntary do kegals. Wtf is this acceleration shaking?? Clutch? Trans mounts? Air valve?
carrier bearing done last week, engine mounts less than year, torque bars less than year. Shocks done last week. Tires are slightly uneven but when on smooth flats truck will accelerate smooth and cruise with no shaking

If your CAC has even a pinhole in it, it will do weird stuff.
Take it by a Stewart & Stevenson / W.W.Williams. They are Detroit house, and very fair.Speed_Drums and Rideandrepair Thank this. -

If you're saying that the truck itself goes into a shake when you are on a rough road but it is smooth when you accelerate on a smooth road, here are a few suggestions.
I am also assuming you feel the whole truck shake not the front end.
Check all of your wheelbearing play. Make sure none of your rims are bent. Tires themselves can cause the problem that you're talking about. When tires have uneven wear they can do funny things. Also make sure they have the same air pressure.
I had a vibration in my truck under certain conditions and I changed tires and it completely stopped it.
Another thing to check is your cab mounts. When the cab mounts have play in them it can feel like the whole truck is shaking. Also if your cab shocks have not been replaced that can cause problems.
Check your entire drive line for play as in the back of the transmission and at both of your rears.
Also check that you don't have any bad Springs and that your bushings are good and especially that you don't have a broken center bolt meaning your airbags will be leaning.
I would also check that all of your Springs are tight with the bolt that holds it against the hanger.Siinman, Rideandrepair and supergreatguy Thank this. -
