I've got a 98 pete and the Air dryer is constantly purging about every 30 seconds. I have replaced air dryer, air governor, air compressor and it is still doing it. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you check the Braided Line that goes from the Governor to the Dryer, underneath the Braid is a plastic line which gets old and dried out and could be cracked causing you to have a leak.

Would it be an audible leak? I can hear no air leaking from any of the hoses.

You might not be able to hear it because the Braid muffles the sound. When the truck is off are you losing air pressure?

Spray that braided line down with some soap suds and see if it shows up anything. Sometimes they will leak through themselves in multiple places. They won't make any noise, but if the signal line is losing pressure, it doesn't hold your compressor unloaders up, and it will cycle continuosly. I needed to add, watch for bubbling on braided line as system is working. With engine off and signal line losing its pressure, a leak won't show.

Sorry I can't help diagnose the problem, but at least I know now who is parking beside me 2 or 3 times a week.

Good advice so far, if you don't find anything with the suggestions so far, the unloaders themselves can be leaking inside the compressor. You probably have a Tu-flow 550 compressor, if so, an unloader kit isn't much and pretty easy to do.

Thanks for the help. It wasn't the braided one but the one to the air governor. Cannot believe I couldn't hear air outta that as bad as that hose was bubbling when I sprayed it down. Going to change it in the am hope that does it!
