Hello from MidStates Trucking in Chicago

Hey there everyone!

I am the web master for MidStates Trucking out of Chicago. Just wanted to take a few paragraphs here to introduce myself and the company that I am helping out.

My sister started MidStates Trucking approximately 7 years ago and has been a very dependable and quality carrier in the intermodal industry. I help out on their web site and other online activities.

I was pretty happy to find this forum area. It looks like a great place for people in the trucking industry to meet, learn and share information.

The way I found it was not so cool. I did a search in Google under MidStates to see what would come up and I found a thread that talked about Mid-States Express based in another town in Illinois. I wanted to take this opportunity to emphatically state that my sister's company is not affiliated with that company in any way, shape or form.

My sister is not the first in our family to get involved in the trucking industry. Our father, also named Bernard, was a truck driver for most of his life and was an important player in helping his fellow drivers to get the respect they deserved for their hard earned efforts. He finally retired several years back after working with Yellow Trucking. He still talks fondly about his trucking experiences and it continues to influence and entertain all of us in the family.

That work ethic my father had has rubbed off on my siblings that help keep MidStates Trucking Company continue to service their customers with top quality service. MidStates also appreciates the hard working drivers in our mutual efforts to keep progressing and growing.

MidStates Trucking is located in Chicago and the web site address is in my profile. We work with our customers to get the job done right and look forward to getting the word out there further about who we are and how we value our customers and look forward to introducing ourselves to new customers. Especially in these times of economic hardships, we do our best to give the best rates to both our loyal established customers and to offer them to potential new customers that we are fortunate to be introduced to.

So, I have passed on this area to other folks at MidStates Trucking so that they can also see the information and threads here. It will also give me a great place to learn more about what's going on in the industry and to hopefully introduce people to our MidStates team.
