Have you applied and/or interviewed with us in Sugar Land? I don't recruit for the oil field drivers down there, so I don't know what the current need is, but my colleague on the energy service side does.

If you want to get really good drivers...then get your current drivers to recommend them..they are a wealth of knowledge that many of the really good companies use instead of running an ad or recruiting drivers in other ways. A really good company doesn't need to recruit or advertise, their employees do all that. Not trying to be ugly in any way , form or fashion. Just stating what I've seen in over 3 decades of time in trucking, and after having worked for the same place for 33 years myself.

A very good point. Some of the best drivers at Nalco have been referrals from employees. One of my projects is to ensure our drivers are aware of our referral bonus program.

As a former Calgon employee I would say you took a big hit on the Ecolab buyout......... Sugarland , like my plant HAD a waiting list for years....... now they don't........ GE is in need but not looking...they would rather run thin and push harder.

My current folks have a referral bonus too......5 grand...yep 5 grand for both the lease operator and the employee....problem is like 99% of the other offers, you can't get it. It's not the money, it's the co.

If my buddy refers me to a job and the co. is a real POS, I'm mad at my buddy. If the referral doesn't work out then the co. is mad at me. It's a no win unless you just don't refer.

Nothing personal man, just the facts with a little observation.
    Good hunting

    ChemRecruiter,

My name is Gary. I am using the wife's login info. I recently relocated to Oklahoma from Upstate NY due to Cuomo's Safe Act law. I am a pro gun, 2nd amendment defender and despised that gun grab. Anyway, I have a Oklahoma CDL A with all endorsements. Been driving for 22 accident free, safe years. My wife and I have family in the New England area and we would like to get back to the east coast. Currently, I am working for Alan Ritchey hauling crude oil. I have plenty of years in a tanker as crude hauler, gasoline hauler with over weight permits (tri-axle trailer permitted for 107,000 lbs).

I am looking at your ad for the New Castle, De area as a driver. I do not have PM capabilities yet but if you PM me I can respond. I would be willing to send you a resume if you could send me a email address. If the company likes what it sees, they can give me a call. My number is on the resume.

Thank you for your time and help in advance.

    Sincerely,

    Gary L.
