    This is the time of the year that I promise myself that I'll do something about freezing windshield on my Volvo. Are heated wipers any good? What brand?

    The are a few threads on this but it's hard to find them in a search. If I recall, the heated windshield was better than any heated wiper, seemed to be the general consensus.

    Yes they are good, heating the windshield can not prevent build up of ice on the wiper blades.

    We've used Everblades and take them off in spring.

    Just solved this q for me.

    Bought pair of THERMALBLADE, thermostatically controlled, were on sale for 50usd each.

    Add this to heat front windows under wipers. (not yet installed)
