Seriously that's good that they will do that but honestly the test is someone whispering from across the room.
I have a serious hearing issue, I have pitch perfect hearing but when it comes to speech, I have a hard time hearing the person. BUT that said, I never ever had an issue with a DOT hearing test.buddyd157 Thanks this. -
Go ahead and take your scheduled test. I also have hearing loss and a VA provided hearing aid. I have never had to use it for my DOT test. On the DOT medical form you will have to disclose any medical issues including hearing loss. I also let the examiner know I have hearing loss. The test is not that intensive. They will speak to you in a "forced whisper." I think you should be fine.
