Headset question

you do realize it is a violation to listen to music via your headsets. As it keeps you from hearing emergency vehicle sirens....etc.

"Wearing a headset, headphone, or other listening device, other than a hearing aid or instrument for the improvement of defective human hearing, is not permitted while driving. ... Exempts headsets or headphones used for communication purposes"

So while you can use a headset to talk "hands free" you can't use it for music.

As long as it only covers one ear it should be OK.

Although there are ways to pipe music into the truck stereo system that would make more sense.

I wish I could tell you what I think of people that wear headsets when I passed them.

 

I USE the Blue Parrot B250-xt. There is almost always a truckstop that has them on sale.

 

and driving gloves too. oh and safety vests.

 

the sound sucks on the b250-xt know days. i broke my old b250 with the old school charger. bought a new one with a micro usb charger. sounds like junk
